permision in writing from a parent or guardian.

dates, and places. Privacy law does NOT apply to public domain
information. Our practice however is: Dates and places for living
individuals will not be intentionally displayed online for those
individuals born after 1940 (Note: 1940 Census is publicly
available). We do maintain all obtained genealogical information in
our offline databases for those born after 1940 with sources where
appropriate. Just to be clear, we DO include names for those born
after 1940 in our online databases that are publicly accessable,
just NOT their birth dates and places, etc.
Source information for all of our database
records should be stated in each database record online.
However, due to errors in storage, some records do not show their
source information. In addition, source information for
persons determined to be living will not be shown.
For the Patron: Please do NOT use publically available
information for identification purposes. It is not wise to do so
in the world that we live in. Our database is a good example
of what types of information is readily available online.
We will make readily available to
patrons information about our policies and practices relating to
the management of personal information.
